ELECTRONIC INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC

In order to qualify, you must meet the general experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards Handbook X-118C.
Qualifications:
Applicants will be rated in accordance with the OPM Qualification Standard Handbook X-118C for the WG-2600-Electronic Equipment Installation and Maintenance Group, Electronics Mechanic. Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most blue-collar positions, you must meet any screen-out element listed, and show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying. Qualification requirements emphasis is on the quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time. The screen out element for this position is the ability to do the work of a ELECTRONIC INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC without more than normal supervision. JOB ELEMENTS:
Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Ability to read, understand, interpret, utilize and implement technical data dealing with highly complex integrated electronic systems and equipment. 2. Ability to use tools, equipment and materials safely. 3. Knowledge of tool, equipment and materials accounting and security. 4. Knowledge of safety requirements as outlined in applicable standards, regulations and technical orders. 5. Skill in the use of standard band and power tools of the trade. 6. Skill in the selection and use of testing equipment. 7. Ability to operate a computer. 8. Ability to clean work area and/or job site upon completion of work. 9. Knowledge of related electrical, mechanical, optical, pneumatic or hydraulic systems. 10. Ability to calibrate and operate Automatic Test Equipment. 11. Ability to test, overhaul, repair. calibrate, fabricate, and troubleshoot complete integrated electronic systems. PHYSICAL EFFORT:
Work requires standing and working in awkward positions for long periods of time, bending, crawling, and working in tight places. The employee occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 75 pounds and occasionally moves heavier objects with assistance of mechanical devices. WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is usually performed inside. The employee is subject to bums, chemical irritations, shocks, bruises, cuts, and strains. Safety equipment includes safety shoes, safety glasses, and other personal protective equipment. PART-TIME OR UNPAID
Experience:
Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. VOLUNTEER WORK
Experience:
Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
